Oil child portrait study
Oil - 16 x 20" / Huile - 40 x 50 cm
Painting childs is one of the rare occasion when I paint from a picture : impossible to let a child posing for a long time : very tiring for the model and it's difficult to have her staying motionless. This is a small study before a more bigger painting commission.
C'est l'une des rares occasions ou j'utilise une photo : il est impossible de demander à un enfant une pose longue et encore plus difficile d'avoir un corps immobile. C'est une petite étude avant de réaliser la commande (portrait en pied).
